Terms of Service

1. USE OF SERVICE

• You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction)
• You're responsible for keeping your account credentials secure
• Provide accurate information when creating your account
• You're responsible for all activity under your account

2. SELF-EXPERIMENTS & RESULTS

Bion helps you run honest self-experiments. You declare a change you want to test (for example a supplement, a peptide, or a training or nutrition change), keep logging your training, and Bion shows you what changed against your own normal range.

• Results are for information only. A single result reflects one person (you) over one window, so it shows what changed, not proof that anything caused it.
• Bion never tells you a protocol "works" from your own data alone, and it does not diagnose, treat, or prescribe.
• Any crowd or aggregate figures appear only above a minimum group size, with the number of people shown, and are still not medical advice.
• You decide what to do with your results. We do not guarantee any outcome.

3. PROTOCOLS & SUBSTANCES

Bion reports what changed in your own data. It does not sell, supply, endorse, recommend, or verify the safety, legality, or quality of any supplement, peptide, medication, or protocol you choose to test.

• Many substances people experiment with are not approved for human use and may be unsafe or illegal where you live.
• Bion takes no position on whether you should take anything. That choice, and its consequences, are yours.
• Talk to a qualified healthcare professional before starting any new substance, supplement, or program.

4. AN INDEPENDENT ANSWER

Bion's job is an honest answer about your own data, and we keep that answer independent.

• No brand, sponsor, affiliate, or partner ever changes what your data says or which result you see.
• Today Bion is funded by the optional Bion+ subscription. Over time we may add other optional features, for example rewards for healthy habits, partner connections, or links to products. These are always disclosed and always your choice, and none of them change your answer.

5. SEASONS & PROGRESSION

Bion also includes a seasonal progression system from its earlier rewards model, which is being wound down over time. While it runs, XP, ranks, and certain seasonal rewards reset at the end of each season.

• Ranks are determined by accumulated Season XP from verified workouts.
• Bion may adjust XP yields and rank thresholds at any time.

6. INVENTORY, FUEL & FRAGMENTS

Fuel is the in-app utility resource used to expand system capacity (slots) and unlock advanced modules. Fragments are specialized digital assets collected through training and partnerships.

• Fuel and Fragments are earned through quests, training milestones, and Bion+ participation.
• Fuel, Fragments, and unlocked slots have no cash value and are non-transferable.
• Redeeming Fragments for physical or digital rewards is subject to verification of training integrity.

7. PAYMENTS, BION+ & SUBSCRIPTIONS

• Free tier: the honest core, including self-experiments and your own results, at no cost
• Bion+: an optional subscription that adds depth, such as uploading your lab results and deeper analysis, plus any remaining seasonal perks while they last
• All payments are processed through Stripe. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled.
• Cancel anytime from your account settings
• Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis
• Coached programs (paid coaching from an independent coach or clinic through Bion): cancel anytime; you are entitled to a full refund within 7 days of purchase if no coaching has been delivered. Request it from Settings or support@getbion.com. Bion processes the refund as the platform.

8. PRIZE REDEMPTION & FULFILLMENT

• Prizes are fulfilled by participating third-party brands, not by Bion
• For in-store redemptions: present your code to staff within the time window shown. Bion is not responsible for outlet availability or staff errors
• For delivery prizes: you must provide an accurate shipping address. Bion is not liable for lost, delayed, or undeliverable shipments
• For digital prizes: codes or links are provided as-is by the brand. Bion does not guarantee their validity on third-party platforms
• All prize disputes (quality, availability, delivery) should be directed to the fulfilling brand. Bion will facilitate communication where possible
• Bion reserves the right to revoke prizes obtained through fraud, exploitation, or violation of these terms

9. ANTI-CHEATING & INTEGRITY

• ZERO TOLERANCE: If you are suspected of cheating or violating system integrity, Bion reserves the right to suspend your account.
• REWARD FORFEITURE: Suspected cheaters can be denied redemption of any physical or digital prizes, Fuel, Fragments, or season rewards.
• NO REFUNDS: No refunds are issued for Bion+ subscriptions when an account is suspended for cheating.
• Using automated tools, bots, or scripts to interact with the Service is prohibited
• If you find an exploit or bug, report it to us; please don't abuse it
• Account sharing or multi-accounting to get around per-user limits is prohibited

10. ACCEPTABLE USE

You agree NOT to:

• Use the Service for unlawful purposes
• Attempt to hack, reverse-engineer, or scrape our systems
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service
• Impersonate others or spread harmful content
• Use the Service for unauthorized commercial purposes
• Exploit bugs or glitches for unfair advantage in the in-app economy
• Manipulate or falsify workout data, location data, or redemption codes
• Create multiple accounts to circumvent prize claim limits

11. YOUR CONTENT

• You own the content you create (workouts, logs, experiments, feedback)
• You grant us a license to use it to provide the Service
• You're responsible for ensuring your content doesn't violate others' rights

12. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

• Bion's design, code, graphics, and branding are our property
• Don't copy, modify, or distribute without permission
• The Bion name and logo are our trademarks

This is not medical advice. Bion gives you general fitness tools, your own self-experiment results, and informational insights about your data. It does not diagnose, treat, or prescribe.

• Consult a qualified healthcare professional before starting any exercise program, supplement, or protocol
• Exercise and unproven substances carry real risks, including injury or harm
• You assume full responsibility for your training and protocol decisions

DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure service.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Bion is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or $100, whichever is greater.

TERMINATION & GOVERNING LAW

We may suspend or terminate access for violations. You can delete your account anytime. Disputes are governed by the laws of our operating jurisdiction.

CHANGES TO TERMS

We may update these terms. Material changes will be posted here. Continued use after changes means you accept the new terms.
